Nature truly emits healing vibrations to our souls.
Have you ever been in a natural setting and felt a calm, joyful solace wash through you? Communing with nature can be ever so healing and nourishing to a grieving soul.
I receive tremendous enjoyment from walking and reflecting in nature. It is here, as I quietly release my thoughts that inspiration often strikes. In clearing the old stagnant energy, a vibrant space is created for new thoughts and ideas.
My sorrow and grief subside, if only for a moment to be replaced by the calm and quiet I always find in mother nature’s chapel.
Many a story has been birthed by me in this manner. Connections are made forming ideas I never knew existed in my previously crowded thoughts; it is quite an amazing experience!
I love this photograph. The image embodies the feeling of wonder and joy that settles into my being when surrounded by all that nature has to offer. It is here that I feel a deep gratitude for simply being, for merely existing on this amazing planet we call earth.🍀
During the last few years, I have learned about the term “Earthing”. It refers to the connection between mother Earth and the human body and how beneficial it can be. It promotes going barefoot and reaping the benefits of connecting to the grounding energy of the earth. Basically, it promotes the healing benefits of our feet touching the earth and not the man made structures where we all spend so much time in modern life. Reconnecting to our very life force.
The Chopra Center has this to say about the healing benefits of “Earthing” or “Grounding” in their online article, “Grounding the Human Body: The Healing Benefits of Earthing”:
“The Earth is like a gigantic battery that contains a natural, subtle electric charge – a special kind of energy present in the ground. For safety and stability, most everything in the electrical world is connected to it, whether it is an electric power plant or your refrigerator. This is what the term ‘grounded’ means.
Being grounded also applies to people. When you are electrically grounded, you feel: centered, solid, strong, balanced, less tense and less stressed…”
There are various health benefits cited such as decreased levels of inflammation and pain, reduced stress levels and improved circulation.
For those of us who live in northern climates, Earthing will not be an option all year round. But that does not mean that spending time in natural surroundings will not have a beneficial effect. To the contrary, spending time in nature has many desirable effects such as improved physical health, boosting mental health, strengthening immunity, helping us tap into our creativity, reducing stress and providing a better quality of life overall.
So as you can see, it is very healing to connect with mother nature and something that is very beneficial to us on a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level.
